Christmas in Cardiff Bay

December Events

Every Saturday and Sunday from 29 November - 21 December, plus Monday 22 & Tuesday 23 December: Mermaid Quay

Santa’s Post Office | Bute Street, in-between Joanna Joy’s Chocolate Emporium
and GBK

The elves will help you write your letter to Father Christmas, post it in Santa’s enchanted Post Box and watch its route to Lapland light up on the magic map! Every letter that’s sent will get a response from the big man himself.

You can even ask the “sorting hat” if you have been naughty or nice this year – a letter with a “good” stamp will surely get opened first!

There’ll also be an exciting augmented reality pair matching game to play on your phone – the first of its kind in Wales. Complete the game and you will receive a special certificate from Santa’s elves!

And, there’ll be a fabulous festive treasure hunt – with special Christmas treats for everyone taking part. NB. Even when the Post Office is closed, you can still post your letter to Santa and play the AR game from outside.
