Artists from the South Tyrol region of Italy come together with Makers Guild Wales members to celebrate stunning design and craftsmanship. Artists and curators Beate Gegenwart and Gabi Veit have paired up ten artists in this exciting project that encourages dialogue between makers. Visitors will be able to see work in glass, silver, vitreous enamel and ceramics – all hand made and showing an exceptional level of skill. The exhibition will travel to South Tyrol during 2019 – a fantastic opportunity for our Welsh makers.
The exhibition will temporarily be closed between 1st and 14th August whilst we host a jewellery showcase by our guild members as part of the National Eisteddfod taking place in Cardiff Bay.
