Exploring Colour – painting workshop

Eloise is currently exhibiting at Craft in the Bay in Artists in Dialogue – a partnership between the Makers Guild Wales and Celebration of Welsh Contemporary Painting. Dividing her time between studios in Ceredigion and Bath, Eloise has a distinctive style, creating colourful paintings inspired by her surrounding landscapes.

This workshop at Craft in the Bay is a wonderful opportunity for you to study with Eloise and explore colour through observational and experimental work in the studio.

The day will include:

• ‘Finding Colour & Form in Urban Landscapes’ – sketching session in Cardiff Bay.
• ‘Unpacking Colour’ Session
• ‘Finding Colour’ Session in the exhibition Artists in Dialogue at Craft  in the Bay
• Applying Colour – to your urban journey sketches. Acrylic and/or watercolour
• Building a scene on larger format.

Suitable for all levels of experience in drawing and painting.
