This September, The Red Dragon Centre will be filled with the magic of music in support of Alzheimer’s Awareness Month. A public piano will take centre stage, celebrating the power of music to spark memories, brighten days, and bring people together.
Every day between 12 and 3pm, the piano will be open for anyone to play. From beginners trying out their first tune to seasoned pianists sharing something beautiful, every note adds to the atmosphere and the joy of the moment.
The initiative is free to enjoy, but visitors are encouraged to support the Alzheimer’s Society through donations via the fundraising page. Contributions will help fund vital work and make a real difference to the lives of people and families affected by dementia.
Experienced pianists who would like to perform outside of open play hours are also warmly invited to get in touch by emailing info@thereddragoncentre.co.uk.
