Roar into Jurassic Bay

Prepare for a dino-sized weekend of fun as Jurassic Bay takes over Cardiff Bay on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th July!

Coinciding with the release of the epic new film Jurassic World: Rebirth, the Bay will be packed with free family-friendly activities for dinosaur fans of all ages. From roaring raptors and fossil displays to dino digs and crafts, there’s something for every budding palaeontologist to enjoy. And to top it all off, you can catch the new film on the big screen at ODEON in The Red Dragon Centre or Everyman at Mermaid Quay – the perfect way to complete your Jurassic day out!

WHAT’S ON

Saturday 5th July

🦖 The Red Dragon Centre

• Meet Spike the Raptor / Spinosaurus hybrid at 12:30pm, 2:00pm & 3:30pm
• Explore fascinating Fossil Displays 12-4pm

🦕 Mermaid Quay

• Razor the Raptor & Baby Dino Friends appearing between midday and 3:30pm
• Get hands-on at the free Dino Dig Zone (times tbc)

🎨 Craft in the Bay

• Enjoy Free Dino Crafts – perfect for kids and families 11am-3pm

Sunday 6th July

🦖 The Red Dragon Centre

• Meet Razor the Raptor at 12:30pm, 2:00pm & 3:30pm
• Fossil Displays continue 12-4pm

🦕 Mermaid Quay

• The Dino Dig is back for more fossil-hunting fun
• Look out for more dino appearances during the day (times tbc)
