During this workshop you’ll be shown how to manipulate fabric in a variety of ways to create exciting dyed patterns on fabric.
The day will begin with creating a number of fabric samples as you experiment using the various Shibori techniques of folding, twisting, tying and clamping of shapes & objects. After this you can apply your favourite technique and create your own unique pattern on either a tote bag or a cushion cover which Lynda will provide for you, You’ll be able to take your designs home at the end of the day.
All materials, apron, disposable gloves will be provided.
