Oriel y Senedd
From March 2026, explore Your Senedd, Your Vote. Discover why your vote matters and how you can shape the future of Wales – both before and after the election.
Wales has its own parliament – the Senedd.
This means the Senedd, not the UK Parliament, passes laws about all sorts of things which affect your daily life in Wales.
Things like hospitals and GPs, schools and education, road and rail transport, farming, culture, sport, the environment and the Welsh language.
So the Members of the Senedd elected in May 2026 have the power to make decisions that impact everyone in Wales.
Visit the exhibition to find out more about why the election is important, and learn about key areas:
O fis Mawrth 2026, beth am edrych ar Eich Senedd, Eich Pleidlais. Gallwch ddarganfod pam mae eich pleidlais yn bwysig a sut allwch chi lunio dyfodol Cymru – cyn ac ar ôl yr etholiad.
Mae gan Gymru ei senedd ei hun – sef Senedd Cymru.
Mae hyn yn golygu bod Senedd Cymru, nid Senedd y DU, yn pasio deddfau am bob math o bethau sy’n effeithio ar eich bywyd bob dydd yng Nghymru.
Pethau fel ysbytai a meddygon teulu, ysgolion ac addysg, trafnidiaeth ffyrdd a rheilffyrdd, ffermio, diwylliant, chwaraeon, yr amgylchedd a’r iaith Gymraeg.
Felly, bydd gan yr Aelodau o’r Senedd sy’n cael eu hethol ym mis Mai 2026 y pŵer i wneud penderfyniadau sy’n effeithio ar bawb yng Nghymru.
